Wow. This was really sad and disturbing. And scary when you think about how many people are texting on the road while you drive. Beware, definitely a little graphic and bloody..

I think this is too graphic to be shown to certain age groups. If it’s shown, there needs to be strong caution and warning about its graphic nature and what it actually portrays. I was in a bad car accident this month (not from texting!) and it is more than emotionally traumatizing for me to see such graphic car wrecks now. I don’t appreciate reliving a nightmare, and I know I’m not the only one. Nobody should be forced to watch, but everyone should understand the dangers of multitasking while driving.

MediaCurves.com just conducted a follow up study with 205 viewers of a Public Service Announcement (PSA) from the U.K. illustrating the dangers of texting and driving. Results showed that the overwhelming majority of viewers (85%) reported that in the last week, they had reduced the amount of text and mobile messages sent while driving as a result of the video. More in-depth results can be viewed at http://www.mediacurves.com/NationalMediaFocus/J7524-Texting-While-Driving-2/Index.cfm

The Texting While Driving Solution is at the end of this comment.
Oprah’s No Phone Zone Questions:
1) I will not text while I am driving
2)I will not text while driving and will use only handsfree calling if I need to speak on the phone while I am driving.
3)I will not text or use my phone while I am driving. If I need to use my phone, I will pull over to a secure location.
# 2 is the most realistic of all 3 choices. If we fail to provide an viable alternative we will continue to see this epidemic spin out of control.

Wow!, this was a top quality post. In theory I’d like to compose like this as well – taking time and real effort to make a nice article… but what can I say… I keep putting it off and never seem to get something done
